AJP Bookkeeping is run by Tertius Poolman, from Boksburg, Gauteng.
I hold a BCom in Financial Management, passed with distinction, and I'm working towards the CIMA CGMA designation. My day-to-day background is financial management and business operations in the manufacturing and industrial sector — finance, contracts, procurement and compliance — which means I've spent years on the other side of the books, using them to make decisions rather than just producing them.
That's the difference I try to bring. Plenty of people can capture transactions. Fewer can tell you what the numbers mean for the next three months.
Working with a practice this size
You deal with me. Not an account manager, not a junior who changes every six months. I answer my own email, I know your business, and if something looks wrong in your numbers I'll tell you before it becomes a problem.
The flip side is honest to state: I take on a limited number of clients so that every set of books gets proper attention. When I'm full, I'll say so.
